Nigel Fishburn in Marathon Des Sables

Nigel Fishburn from Miller Construction took part in the Marathon Des Sables in April 2011. A marathon of 151 miles, equivalent to 6 marathons in 7 days, across the Sahara Desert. He completed his run in up to 55 degree temperatures and finished 297th out of 848 runners. Halcyon Building Systems Ltd were proud to be one of Nigel's sponsors who helped raised over £56,000 for his chosen UK charity Mencap. Nigel described the experience as 'immense' and would never say never in completing it again.
